HawkHost Vs HostGator Vs StableHost

Web Hosting

Let’s compare three awesome hosting providers. Today in this HawkHost Vs HostGator Vs StableHost article I will show how they differ. We will be looking into the cost of each.

HawkHost Vs HostGator Vs StableHost: 7 Differences (Easy)

We will be examining their server locations. We will be displaying the different features and more. Let’s begin.

Introduction
  • Hawk Host is a shared, reseller, semi-dedicated, and virtual hosting company that was founded in 2004.
  • HostGator is a well known hosting service that was founded in a dorm room on October 23, 2002.
  • StableHost is a privately owned hosting company that was founded in 2009.

Bandwidth and space

All three companies offer unmetered bandwidth and disk space which is going to allow your website to grow greatly and handle traffic like a champ. As far as bandwidth is concerned I would recommend all three.

Control panel

All three platforms utilize the cPanel control panel which is the easiest control panel to use. cPanel offers various features. You are able to easily check disk space, set up an FTP account, manage your backups, manage your emails, secure a website with Hotlink Protection, and more. I strongly recommend to always choose a web hosting company with cPanel.

Data center comparison

HostHawk provides more data centers than the other two hosting companies on this list. They have servers in 7 locations worldwide. Their server locations include Dallas, Texas, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, California, Singapore, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Hong Kong, China, and Toronto, Canada. All of their facilities utilize Cisco and Juniper network hardware along with UPS battery backups and Diesel generators.

StableHost servers are spread all over the United States and in Europe. Altogether, StableHost utilizes three different data centers. They offer locations in Chicago, Phoenix, Singapore, and Amsterdam.

HostGator offers awesome data centers in Provo, Utah, and Houston, Texas.

Pricing comparison

Hawk Host

Hawk Host always offers awesome hosting prices and they are always going on sale. HH usually costs $2.99 a month which by itself is an awesome hosting price. However, currently you can use Hawk Host at 25% off for $2.24/mo. The best thing about Hawk Host pricing is that they offer 1 month web hosting plans for your blog. You don’t have to pay yearly for web hosting like most hosting companies which is great!

Not only does HawkHost offer cheap shared hosting, but they also offer Cheap VPS web hosting with Cpanel/WHM for bloggers. Their Basic VPS starts at $18 and offers 30GB web space, SSD, 1500GB Bandwidth, and more.

HostGator

HostGator is another company that is always on sale. HG can be purchased for $3.95 a month which makes it the second cheapest hosting option on this list. HG also offers a Baby plan and a Business plan that starts at $5.95/mo.

Stablehost

Stablehost offers an average hosting price. $4.95 a month for hosting which is their Starter price is not bad at all but it’s not necessarily the best either. Hawk Host is half the cost of Stablehost’s cheapest plan. Their second shared hosting plan which is their Pro plan is going to cost $8.95 a month. This price is even more than the WordPress premium price.

Performance comparison

All three hosting companies perform well. Hawk Host and HostGator both offer a 99.99% uptime. However, Stablehost offers a 99.97% uptime which is good but not the best.  Also, it’s hard to compete with Hawk Host’s 7 data centers. This is more than both HostGator and Stablehost combined.

Support features

The one thing that I do not like about Stablehost is that they do not offer any live chat support. What Stablehost does offer is phone support, video tutorials, email support, and a knowledgebase.

HostGator is known for their great hosting support. They offer 24/7/365 Premium Support via Phone, Live Chat, and Ticket support. HG offers 500+ Video Tutorials and 680+ Help Articles. HG also offers community forum access for their customers.

Hawk Host is similar to HostGator in support. They also offer a forum and 24/7 phone, live chat, and email support. You are going to love their knowledgebase with hundreds of common hosting questions.

Which is better?

After looking at all the facts, I believe that Hawk Host is the winner. HawkHost provides an unbeatle amount of data center locations which is going to help with page load speed. They also offer a more attractive hosting price with a truck load of features. After HawkHostm then comes HostGator and last comes Stablehost. Stablehost is a young company that is only going to improve. Below I will help you set up a blog today with the winner.
